Thank you for applying for the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Office of Education & Training’s (OET) Postdoc Travel Grant. Twice a year, 4 grants will be awarded (up to $1500 each) for postdocs who do not otherwise have the means to attend a desired research meeting. Awards must be used for travel between April 2025 and October 2025. Travel should be completed by October 31, 2025. Applications due April 4, 2025 by 11:59pm.
Eligibility:
- Open to PhD or MD postdocs who are engaged in full time research and not otherwise enrolled in a clinical training program (ex: fellowship or residency)
- Mentor must be a full or associate member of the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC)

Must be focused on cancer research (basic, lab-based, clinical, outcomes, population, etc.)

Must use the money to attend a cancer-specific conference or strongly justify the cancer relevance of the conference

We will prioritize postdocs who have not received one of our travel grants in the past

Provide a current NIH style biosketch. Applications without a biosketch attached will not be considered.

Include a specific budget justification, with amounts for specific items you will use the money on (e.g., plane tickets, lodging, registration, etc.)
